I'm in Santa Fe, NM where I plan on staying at least for the day, so more on that tomorrow. It's cold here with snow on the ground and it's supposed to snow tonight.
Yesterday I drove through Oklahoma and noticed the following sign that I haven't noticed anywhere else. "Hitchikers may be escaping inmates." That's a comforting thought.
Passing through Oklahoma City it seemed that their was a void left from the exploded Federal Building in the skyline. My guess is that will always be felt in that city.
As I made my way into Texas I spotted the first bit of sagebrush flying across the road. Several ads that I heard on the radio are worthy of mentioning. First the "Bust Stop" where you can buy a custom made bra. Is there really a size 60 OO? The second was for a sports bar called "Hoots" where beside the usual fare they advertised snuff for $1.
New Mexico is a beautiful state, Santa Fe is like an island in the middle of the desert.
I am not a happy camper this morning. Tripod has changed their editor overnight and it is making it very difficult to do something that normally takes a few minutes. Anyway
